Download New Album Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns | 2010 |

Download New Album | Weezer - Hurley | 2010

http://hypetrak.com/images/2010/09/Weezer-Hurley-Full-Album-Stream.jpg

Where's My Sex sebuah lagu yang agak lain dibandingkan judul-judul lagu lainnya.

It’s the album the entire dance scene has been waiting for. After months of hard work and creativity, the number one DJ in the world delivers his fourth artist album. Armin van Buuren is proud to present to you: ‘Mirage’. Armin:”Mirage has been the biggest project I’ve ever worked on. There’s so many hours in this. Work started two years ago when I actually built a completely new studio for this project. Many new techniques were used and most of all I had so much fun creating this with the many people that are involved. It was a journey, an epic one!”

‘76’, ‘Shivers’ and ‘Imagine’ are still etched in memory of millions of dance music lovers. Fresh memories will be made as soon as the album hits stores on September 10th 2010. ‘Mirage’ reveals a side of Armin his fans haven’t heard yet and takes in its listeners with new and surprising collaborations. Within the 2 years of endless jamming and producing, Armin invited artists like Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ferry Corsten, BT, Nadia Ali, Guy Chambers, Christian Burns and Adam Young of Owl City into his studio.

As the first single of the album, Armin chose ‘Full Focus’, an instrumental track set to fill arenas, clubs and scorch across the festival terrains set up for the summer of 2010. Armin:”The first track of the album has been a sure shot in my sets for quite a while now. I decided to come back with an instrumental trancer right before summer and all the big festivals. Half of my new album will be instrumental trance, but with the sound of 2010.”

Right after summer, it’s time for the full ‘Mirage’ album to take over. Inspired and influenced by many different types of music, ‘Mirage’ is more diverse than any other Armin album before. His collaboration with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, ‘Not Giving Up On Love’ is a perfect example of that, combining the best of both worlds. Armin:”The Nervo Sisters, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and me met up to write the vocals for ‘Not Giving Up On Love’. I was thrilled to work with them on this. We gave it a more analog feel with some real drums, to give it a pop-rock feel. We also put a piano top line on the track and then the vocals of Sophie, which I think is a win. It’s a lush summer tune with an epic vocal that gets stuck in your head and cheers you up!”

‘Mirage’ is filled with musical fusions and surprising interpretations, from the orchestral masterpiece of title track ‘Mirage’, deep trance track ‘I Don’t Own You’ and housy ‘Feels So Good’ to the eerie ‘Take A Moment’ and feel-good ‘Drowning’. 16 tracks that highlight how Armin has matured as an artist.

The second single of Armin’s ‘Mirage’ will be the sugar-sweet Sophie Ellis Bextor collab ‘Not Giving Up On Love’. A powerful tribute to love, that Sophie already performed live on BBC Radio 2’s Dermon O’Leary Show. If you’re curious about the track, check the exclusive acoustic version of the single on YouTube! ‘Not Giving Up On Love’ will be releases at the end of August.

Check it out at the Armin van Buuren YouTube Channel!

It's hard to believe that Blonde Redhead have been around for 15 years now. Wild mass acclaim has eluded them so far, but that's not always a bad thing. So, as relative unknowns, they may seem like a 'new band' to many avid music fans. It seems unlikely that Penny Sparkle will be the album to suddenly propel them into the mainstream, but it will impress their already established fan-base as well as any new listeners.
Perhaps they've missed the boat in terms of producing an album that shapes a particular scene, or becomes the iconic sound of a generation. But their long and consistent track record for producing good albums has made them the ever-present bastions of electronic dream-pop.
Penny Sparkle is so laid back that it's almost lackadaisical. Hardly surpassing the tempo of a comatose patient's heartbeat, it floats along upon a cloud of minimalism and tranquillity. This album should never be listened to on the go, as part of a daily commute to work, as that would detract from the serenity of this particular aural pleasure. Lock the door and turn the lights off and Penny Sparkle becomes almost medicinal; the perfect cure for a stressed out brain, or perhaps for the post-hangover frazzle.
Front-woman Kazu Makino's voice is as sweet as honey dripping off a silver spoon into the porridge of sharp electronic drums and bass-synth drones underneath. The songs are sultry and sulky, beautiful and boring, engrossing yet distant. The listener is ushered to sink into each song as if it's the finest duck-feather duvet, feeling comforted and at ease.
The album is undoubtedly a refined piece of work. Nothing is missing, yet nothing's too swollen. The balance of instrumentation and production on each track is faultless. Opening track Here Sometimes takes inspiration from European techno pop, and Kazu reminds the audience "This is me, completely me", reassuring the listener that what Blonde Redhead do is entirely genuine and pure - wearing their heart on their sleeve for all to see.
My Plants Are Dead's dreamlike, suspended chords slosh around inside the head of a daydreamer, synths bulge before rising to the surface and pop like bubbles of air shooting upwards through water.
This is an album that, once consumed, lies dormant in the mind of the listener, ingrained but not at the forefront, playing in the subconscious; more demanding than background music, but short of immediacy. Penny Sparkle will haunt your dreams and turn them into spectral ballads, becoming the soundtrack to dreamlike sequences of love gained and lost. It's not soppy, it's not boring - it's the realisation of a sound crafted to both soothe and scare.

Download | New Album Röyksopp - Senior | 2010

Electronic, Downtempo, trip hop, synthpop | MP3 | 55:51 min | VBR 176 Kbps | 70.2 MB

When Röyksopp released their third studio album Junior a year ago, it was revealed to be not only an enthusiastic and fresh sounding dance record but also one of the better albums of 2009. The pulsating rhythms, the near-faultless quality of guest vocalists (which included Fever Ray, Lykke Li and Robyn) and the sensation of euphoria was comforting. From the singles of Happy Up Here and The Girl And The Robot to It's What I Want, it felt like 45 of the happiest minutes of dance music; guaranteed to make you smile and enjoy yourself in equal measure.

If Junior was the album to make you move in the nightclubs, then Senior is the sound of the after hours. It's not so much a fourth album but a 'counterpart' to Junior, as the band themselves have described it. It will certainly come as a shock to those who massively enjoyed Röyksopp a year ago; gone are the tub-thumping rhythms and the pop melodies, and even the guests are nowhere in sight; in comes more focus on creating sound textures and ambient instrumentals. It's a very abrupt mood change and, as such, the album can only really be best enjoyed when winding down.

It won't make an impression on the first listen and whether or not you'll really be able to get to grips with it will depend on your mood. The Drug is built around a hypnotising synth line and minimalist beats whilst Forsaken Cowboy is a tempo shuffling number, restrained and very close to the downtempo and moody sound they achieved on their 2001 debut, Melody AM. The Fear creates an unsettling and eerie vibe but even that sounds vaguely reminiscent of earlier work; which is, incidentally, one of two major setbacks with Senior.

Making a counterpart to another album, rather than just a remixes and/or outtakes compilation, is a rather fine idea and one that is certainly achievable. But too many moments here remind the listener of past triumphs, and fail to bring in much that's new or interesting. It also has the problem of being released after Junior in the first place, which was always going to make its life difficult.

As the finale A Long, Long Way concludes and winds down it's hard not to feel disappointed. Senior is not a bad album; there are some genuinely well thought out moments of ambience that make for an enjoyable listen, but the same can't be said for the entirety of the album. Instead, it's maybe a little older and a little wiser than Junior but it just isn't anywhere near as much fun.

Klaxons-Surfing The Void 2010-CaHeSo

Klaxons are a band that always wrap their musical offerings in several layers of window-dressing, arcane references and imagery. Their Mercury Prize winning debut album Myths Of The Near Future was presented to the world three years ago. With its nods to JG Ballard, William Burroughs, Thomas Pynchon and Aleister Crowley, the apparent trail-blazers for "nu-rave" often came across more like the shambolic yet thrillingly pretentious friend your older brother brings round to befuddle and intrigue you all at once with his show-offy quotes and allusions.

Now the much anticipated follow-up finally appears, after a rumoured "troubled" couple of years in Camp Klaxon. Cometh the new album, cometh the new raft of references. There's even a reading list, compiled by the band's Jamie Reynolds, which features everyone from Simone Weil, Daniel Pinchbeck, Timothy Leary and Arthur Koestler. But leave all of that to one side if you can, and you will find that what's left - as before - is an album perfectly approachable on its own terms. An album that sees some interesting development in the band's sound, and one that will arguably hold up against its prize-winning predecessor.

Immediately noticeable is the distinct lack of anything that could be described as "rave" (be it "nu-rave", "old rave" or whatever). This was always more a confection of PR and journalistic types than any accurate definition of a genre, and here seems less relevant than ever. That Klaxons are, give-or-take, arock band seems evident, particularly on the fiercer, darker, (better) tracks like Surfing The Void, Extra Astronomical and Flashover. The title track in particular, all raucous instrumentation and crash-bang dynamics, features parts that would not be out of place on the more theatrical end of the pomp-metal spectrum; while the vocal veers from a flat, deadpan and very English prog rock style (Flashover), to awestruck mysticism (Echoes) to Surfing The Void's shouts-and-falsetto combination.

Despite all the erudite references in interviews it is, ironically, difficult to make out words and piece together what individual songs might actually be about. The general impression is of a generalised, portentous mysticism, all "echoes from other worlds" (Echoes), "sun gods" (Valley Of The Calm Trees) and "celestial machines" (Extra Astronomical). This, combined with several songs mentioning outer space (The Same Space, Venusia, Extra Astronomical) contribute further to the air of theatrical pomposity that is as appealing as it is seemingly sincere.

The inclusion of more human moments, usually linked together by some form of affection and establishment of a connection, makes the work as a whole less impersonal and more approachable. Indeed, the final words on the last track, the Prodigy-like Cypherspeed, are "Find the love inside".

Only Future Memories, towards the album's end, really misfires, its fake profundity and lack of a strong hook failing to keep the ear or mind engaged. Otherwise, this is a creditable follow-up from a band re-establishing and confirming their status as one of UK music's more enjoyable and innovative bunch of eccentrics.

Download New Album : !!! (Chk Chk Chk) – Strange Weather, Isn’t It? (2010)

Remember when disco was lame? It really wasn't too long ago when the genre was subjugated to the culture-mulching bowels of semi-ironic baby-boomer radio and VH1 retro-tainment afternoon programming. It had a defined beginning and a regarded end, splintering off into the ever-changing nomenclature of club-focused dance music.

But then the 2000s happened, and from the scarred landscape of New York trotted out a troupe of hipsters bored with the stand-still look-aloof uniform indie rock had always subscribed to, and began to reconsider the synthesizers they once found hopelessly uncool. These bands - The Rapture, LCD Soundsystem and even the Yeah Yeah Yeahs - invited the indie populace to the dancefloor for the first time, and the scene has never been the same since.

!!! (pronounced 'chk-chk-chk' for the uninitiated) is probably the most venerable of the first-wave dance-punk (or disco-punk, or indie-dance, whatever you want to call it) bands; after all, they've been together since 1996, although it wasn't until 2003 that the band really hit their stride. Strange Weather, Isn't It? is their fourth record together, and it's fair to say that it marks the moment where !!! has thoroughly mastered their craft. It's the album where the shine of unexpectedness fades and air-tight songcraft shines through.

!!! are still very, very fun. It's probably the most important component to the band's charm, and Strange Weather is enthusiastically stuffed with tracks that seem to be written specifically to get a party going. Primaries Nic Offer and Tyler Pope once again show their love for percussion, offering spiraling rhythms throughout the record - the drums are the most noticeable thing about the songs, but there is still plenty of disco flavour with synth-spills and Saturday Night Fever big-band brass squeals reappearing often. Simply speaking, this is a hard album not to dance to.

As such, like the entire !!! discography, Strange Weather doesn't really come to life on headphones. It's practically a soundtrack for pool parties, clubs, and makeshift living room dance sessions. The album knows exactly what it wants to do, and accomplishes it with grace. It's an album for DJs; these are songs you'd expect to be played for you, not material you'd necessarily play yourself.

That doesn't stop Strange Weather from being easily the most ebullient, accessible, and gorgeously compact album !!! has ever put their name on. And you're not going to find nine songs that will keep your hips moving quite like these.

Masterfully mixed by Tim Powles, member of The Church, ''Chasing'' transcends a mere listening experience by its emotional intensity and sheer beauty and is somehow able to convey one's innermost longings into sound, making for an indescribable affirmation of the spirit.

Download Music Album Midnight Juggernauts - The Crystal Axis (2010)

The Crystal Axis. It's a brave title, whichever way you look at it - and could represent either a game show requiring seemingly endless levels of intelligence, or a concept of intergalactic relations. All somehow related through music, of course.

And yet this title perfectly describes the music held within. On their first album, Dystopia, Midnight Juggernauts announced themselves as a force to be reckoned with, as concrete heavy beats provided the most solid of foundations for harmonized pop and amazingly dirty basslines. Funk for the future, if you like.

The record acted as a direct hit over the head, the sometimes brutal drumming of Daniel Stricker underpinning the more cinematic productions up above. The same is true here, but the music is that bit more elusive, and as a result it takes a few listens before the full treasures of this second record are revealed.

For sure it is progressive, but not in the full, overblown sense that a title like The Crystal Axis would have you believe. Rather it works in the sense that each track leads logically into the next, the transitions often held in stasis by smoking atmospherics.

There is a frisson of surly attitude throughout, and several thrilling moments, such as the punch of the keyboard and drums when This New Technology hones into view, or the gutsy riff of Lara Versus The Savage Pack, comfortably out muscling the likes of Kasabian. Meanwhile the gentler moments, such as there are, contain weird and wonderful harmonies and lyrics, with The Great Beyond going all biblical as it refers to "the passing of the shadow of death".

The lyrics themselves can be partially hidden at times behind the big wall of sound, but this is not as harmful as it sounds, such is the ability of this music to communicate through raw power alone. All three Juggernauts can sing and harmonise, while the trademark hammer blow drums keep things well and truly sorted at the lower end.

Not as direct as their debut then, but the thrills remain once you've given them a chance to come forward. Moving onto their own label has clearly given the Midnight Juggernauts the musical freedom they actively crave, and if this record is anything to go by they shouldn't be singing closing choruses like Fade To Red's "this is the time for goodbye" for sometime yet. We want them around for longer!
